HEAD CHEF

Nadeem Turkyah 

(Pictured left)
Nadeem Turkyah was born in Jordan to his Jordanian mother and his Syrian father and immigrated to Australia as a refugee in 2016.
He brought over his passion for cooking with a Middle Eastern twist and became a favourite in Darwin with his own food truck.
​The blend of spices shows the aroma of his culture that he is proud to share. 
​
With a brief visit to Geraldton in 2022, he committed to a restaurant opportunity he couldn't turn down. Laian Restaurant has now been recognised as one of the Top 100 Restaurants by WAFG and consistently being booked out in advance.
